Recently I came across two websites that I think are excellent for the person interested in orthopedics or trauma:
1. Orthogate.com - great for news and events in the ortho world and also has an excellent forum for those prospective ortho applicants. The members review various residency programs amongst a myriad of other subjects and respond quickly (I would also add that there is much less junk then others) 2. trauma.org - I think I have recommended this before, however yesterday I cruised through there again and enjoyed going through the trauma moulages. Also there is a great image bank and section on trauma electives around the world...I've been inspired to hit "The Pit" in jo-berg...anyone been there? Cheers |
